Indian Ringnecks

Indian ringneck parakeets are slender, long-tailed parrots known for their elegant look and their intelligence. They come in a wide range of color mutations.

Ringnecks are clever and independent. Many are excellent talkers, and they respond well to consistent, gentle daily interaction.

• Long, graceful tail
• Mature males of many mutations develop a neck ring
• Many color mutations, including blue, yellow (lutino), turquoise and violet
• Very intelligent and trainable

A long cage that allows room for their tail, plenty of chewing toys and regular, consistent handling help ringnecks stay tame and happy.

A quality pellet base with fresh vegetables, fruit and some seed is a commonly recommended diet. Ask about the food your bird is currently eating.
